Register for the NHS App

The NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. You can also access NHS App services from the browser on your desktop or laptop computer. To find out more, go to www.nhs.uk/app.

To set up a login on the app, please use your NHS number, which you can find here: Find your NHS number – NHS (www.nhs.uk).

If you used Patient Access for online services with the Surgery before, you do not need to create a new account when registering with the NHS App, you use the same NHS Login account details (Linkage Key, Account ID and ODS Code).

Please ensure the Surgery has your current email address on record.

If you registered with us for Patient Access a long time ago, you may find that, when the app reaches the stage of linking with our practice (which is normally automatic), it asks you to contact your GP and ask for:

  • Linkage key
  • ODS code
  • Account ID

If this happens to you, please submit ‘Ask Reception a question’ requesting your existing Patient Access information is refreshed. We will then regenerate your linkage key and send it with your account ID to the email address you provided. Our ODS code is J82103.

If you have moved GP Practice and used Patient Access, you don’t have to create a new account. Send a request to the Reception Team as above, you may be asked to provide ID in person at the Surgery.

Those Patients who are under 16 are unable to have online access.  If you are a Parent or Carer and would like to order a Repeat Prescription for a child, please order through our Prescriptions page on the website.

If you have any other problem using the app, please go to Contact the NHS App team – NHS (www.nhs.uk).

The NHS App is free to download from the App Store and Google Play:
